A collection of portraits from Peru. This series was born out of a vast collection of images of people that span ages 1-100 years old. The photographs were taken in September 2010 and 2011 in northern Peru.

Peru – Trujillo and Cajamarca
A little while back I had the pleasure of traveling to South America to photograph for Peru Mission. I headed to Trujillo for most of the time, but also went to Cajamarca and photographed the surrounding areas of the work that they are doing. And so after spending time on and off going through the images and crafting a short trailer for the Mission, I’ve been able to compile my favorite photographs that give some of the flavor of Peru. Below is the short video I crafted for them to summarize their work and give a vision of what they do. Enjoy!
Off to Peru
I am headed back to Peru today. I’m very excited and slightly nerve-wracked to be in another country where I don’t speak the language…But it’s so good to see the missionaries at Peru Mission and capture images for them (and the joy for myself!). It’s hard to be away from the family, but on our reunion, it will be sweet and joyous.
So, here’s to safe travels, beautiful photographs, and sweet reunions. Be well.
